There was a time when the Nike SNKRS App was showcasing featured artists on the app popular for sneaker heads to chase their favorite sneakers on release day.
When you are selected on the app, the "GOT EM" screen pops up on your phone- often creating a shareable social moment for sneakerheads upon winning their coveted pairs.
We decided to create and reimagine the "GOT EM" screen you see on the app in a physical sense; made completely out of shoeboxes.
This piece is over 5' tall and has a square cutout on the piece where on the app the shoes you purchased would be there. This cutout allows a user to hold a pair of shoes through this cutout enabling the piece to be an interactive work.
