About the Artist

Mitch is a contemporary mixed-media artist based in Green Bay, Wisconsin, known for transforming upcycled packaging into bold, colorful artworks that bridge street culture and fine art.

 

Working under the name MAWDOODS, he repurposes shoeboxes, tags, and other packaging into layered pieces defined by graphic linework, curated color palettes, and a refined yet gritty aesthetic.

 

His works ranging from portraits, abstract forms, and everything in-between reinterpret cultural symbols through nostalgia, craftsmanship, and material experimentation. Each piece is meticulously hand-cut and assembled, giving his work a dimensional presence that sits at the intersection of illustration, collage, and object design.
